About
the Teacher
    My name is Jennifer Hall and I am a 6th, 7th, and 8th grade gifted language arts teacher at J.E. Brown Middle School. I am serving as the Academy Director of the newly established Gifted & Talented Academy. I am proud to say this is my seventh year at Brown Middle School.
     In 2005-2006 I was J.E. Brown's Teacher of the Year (TOTY) and an Atlanta Public Schools Middle School Teacher of the Year Semi-Finalist.
     Before moving to Atlanta I taught 6th, 7th and 8th grade language arts, for five years, in an Alternative Education program in Tallahassee, Florida.
     I have both a bachelor's degree in English Education and a master's degree in Reading Education and Language Arts from Florida State University. I am also a gifted certified language arts teacher.
     Proudly, I am a National Board Certified Teacher in the area of Early Adolescence - English/Language Arts.
