| A Mississippi Kite came to Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge and has taken up residence for a, time anyway, at the Visitor Information Center. The kite was in some snags on the north side of the parking lot. Today, June 4, 2005, it was most cooperative. It sat and preened, turned so I could photograph both the front and back. Hopefully the kite will hang around awhile for others to get good views. |
