Welcome to my little space on the web, where I'll be posting my recordings and other things interesting perhaps only to me! If you do enjoy the music, or if you don't, tell me about it by signing my guestbook. All feedback is *greatly* appreciated! I realize that there are a LOT of mistakes in these recordings. They are all completely improvised (not the rhythm section though - those are downloaded via the Guitar Port, thus the high quality). Each was done with one take only (I have no patience for re-doing stuff over and over!). I am currently looking for others to jam with. I would love to get involved with some people who are interested in working towards getting a set worked out and then doing a gig once a month or so. Money isn't important - I have a 9-5 gig. Guitar is my passion.
On the recordings, I used a 1983 Fender Telecaster (USA made) outfitted with active EMG pickups. I recorded direct into the PC using the Line 6 Guitar Port, which is an awesome piece of equipment.
I've been playing on and off for 11 years now, however I haven't played at all for the past 4 of those years. Just recently the "fire" came back, and I've been plugging away at the guitar again. I attribute the renewed interest to the Guitar Port, and a re-wiring of the pickups in my Tele (there had been a loose pickup wire for a long time in it and I didn't even know it!). |
