Course Description: There are usually four hours of lecture each week, a 2-hour quiz session Friday morning, and several hours blocked out for students to work independently or see profs in office hours. The course covers three phases in the spring with multiple-choice exams. Thursday morning quizzes have two parts: a 30-minute miniquiz which each student works individually, and a group quiz. The second part is group effort with some new questions plus questions from the individual miniquiz. Groups of 6 are assigned by the course director. |
