Ingredients

  • 200 g sweet potatoes
  • 80 g wheat flour
  • salt
  • 200 g sugar
  • 6 tbsp water

 

Steps to Prepare

  1. Boil sweet potatoes for 10-15 minutes until soften.
  2. Mash potatoes evenly and add a pinch of salt.
  3. Allow mashed potatoes to cool to room temperature.
  4. Add wheat flour to mashed potatoes and mix well.
  5. Shape dough into donuts.
  6. Fry donuts until they float. Leave aside to cool.
  7. In a clean wok, heat sugar and water at medium heat.
  8. Once the mixture caramelized, switch stove off and mix donuts into the syrup.
