| On Wednesday, August 9, Jennifer and I arrived in Orlando, FL at 12:00 noon. We stayed at the Delta Orlando Resort at the Universal Studios Maingate. After we arrived, we slept for a couple of hours and then headed out for the evening. We went to Lake Eola in downtown Orlando and enjoyed the scenery. They had a huge marquee at the lake advertising the Disney Millennium Celebration. We arrived at Downtown Disney at around 7:00, shopped and enjoyed the night. We ran into an old high school friend at Downtown Disney's Virgin Megastore. Can you believe that? Anyway, the following day we went to the Magic Kingdom. We took the camcorder and taped almost every attraction, even while riding them. The Main Street Electric Parade and the fireworks were great as always. On this trip, the Magic Kingdom was the only Disney park we went to. The other days, we went to Universal Studios. Check out some of the pictures. We only put a few up to see. |
