Christmas 2001
Christmas 2001 was great because Walt Disney World is transformed into a winter wonderland.  The only thing that throws it off is that it's about 68 degrees.  We went with our friends Jody and Tawana, and stayed at the Comfort Suites not far from the Disney maingate.  We had park hopper passes, but only had two full days to enjoy them.  We went to two theme parks a day in order to get it all in.  The day we arrived, we went to the Disney BoardWalk and Downtown Disney, as usual.  The next day, we had to fit in the Magic Kingdom and Epcot.  We went to the Magic Kingdom from 10:00 that morning until around 3:00.  Then, we rode the monorail to Epcot and stayed there for the rest of the evening.  The Christmas decorations at both parks were excellent.  While we were at Epcot, all of us were selected to be interviewed and taped for ABC's Walt Disney World Christmas Special to be aired on Dec. 25.  We all felt like celebrities for about a half hour.  Later that evening, we enjoyed front-row seats to Epcot's Candlelight Processional.  The following day, we headed to the Animal Kingdom first, then to MGM Studios.  The snow and Osborne Spectacle of Lights were great at MGM.
