Crew
Manifest – USS IRONHEART
A newly made captain, Shirzina is still finding her
footing commanding a starship. However, she has a lot of experience, both from
her symbiot (a former Starfleet admiral) and from serving under captain Jason
Hood for the better part of two years.
Shirzina is a strong woman, competent and talented –
with a knack for engineering. Her hardest adjustment, going from first officer
to captain has been to stop going on the dangerous missions. She still needs
the “hands-on”-feeling.
Shirzina has quite a temper, and rarely backs down
from a fight. She has extensive tactical knowledge from her symbiot, and has
found powerful backers in the hierarchy of Starfleet – especially since her
work alongside such famous persons as captain Christine MacDonald (her old
roommate from the academy), and the legendary captain James T. Kirk. She lost a
little of that respect, however, when her former command, USS Athena,
was damaged beyond repair during the course of her last mission. Still, there
was no hard feelings, when she was offered the Ironheart.
The word at headquarters is, that this is only the
first step on the ladder for Shirzina Kirix.
Played by: Lars
First
Officer: Commander Kevin Fletcher Christian
Sex:
Male
Species:
Human
Formerly
the chief Science officer on the USS Athena, Kevin switched to command
track and became the second officer. He has strong aspirations for command, and
has something of a “Kirk-complex” – he hopes to command his own ship by the
time he is 33.
Kevin
grew up in the London Zoo, and has a talent with animals. He was also part of
the “officer exchange program” with the Klingon empire – he served for 6 months
on a Klingon battlecruiser under Captain Kaevin.
Kevin
and Shirzina had begun a relationship prior to her promotion (and his own) –
where they stand now, remains to be seen.
Chief
Engineer: Lieutenant Kaya Mkabe
Sex:
Female
Species:
Human
Kaya
is from a small, rather isolated planet in the outer rim of the federation.
Prior to her attending Starfleet Academy, she did not have much of a social
life, which is showing when you talk to her. She is good at her job, and
tolerates no mistakes – her engine room is a “clean machine”!
During
the past 2 years, Kaya has undergone treatments with counsellor O’Donnell, and
she is improving. She no longer feels the need to accuse her fellow crewmembers
for sexual harassment...
Chief
Conn officer: Lieutenant Dmitri Gagarin
Sex:
Male
Species:
Human
Dmitri
came straight out of the academy, and on board the Athena. He is still young,
but has gained a lot of experience in those 2 years. He has flown a variety of
ships, from intrepid class (Athena), over Sovereign and Defiant class to
Romulan scoutships and Mirror universe Raptors. His piloting skills are
bordering on the fantastic, and there has already been talk of moving him to a
more beneficial posting in Starfleet – as a test pilot, for example. Dmitri is
still enjoying the front line, however.
Dmitri
enjoys real alcohol, specifically vodka, and he often enjoys a glass or two
with the counsellor (off duty).
Counsellor: George O’Donnell (in absentia – occasionally
available by hologram)
Sex:
Male
Species:
Human
An atypical councellor, his motto seems to be: “Green tea and bean sprouts are a poor substitute for
whisky
and Prozac”.
He has extensive diplomatic training, alongside some
of the best diplomats in the Federation.
He likes to sign his memos “G.O’D”(and he writes a lot
of memos!).
He comes of as a trained professional - but he is not
the “light of the party”.
He likes to call himself a “listener”.
Hobbies: Storytelling and bartending.(“I’m a doctor,
not a bartender...hell, I AM a bartender!”)
Played by: Uffe
Sex:
Male
Species:
Seraphim
David
(his true name is almost impossible to pronounce for human tongues)is an
angel-like being, a man with two large white wings on his back. His species is
new to the Federation, and he is the first to serve in Starfleet.
Not
very aggressive by nature, David is nonetheless capable of a terrifying anger,
if he feels himself or his friends threatened. He is physically very strong,
and has leaned some forms of earth martial arts.
He
is, however, a healer first and foremost, and takes his duty very serious. On
occasion, he has displayed a certain special talent for stabilizing critically
wounded or dying patients. He refuses to discuss this, however, calling it a
“racial gift”.
He
is a very social man, and often spends time in the ships lounge, where he plays
3-D chess.
Marine
Commander: Sergeant Robert Dekker
Sex:
Male
Species:
Human
Affectionately
known as “Chief” or “Boss” amongst his men, Robert is a good leader and a very
good tactician.
Born
on a mining planet close to the Demilitarised Zone, Robert grew up with the
threat of Cardassian attack on his head every day. His colony was attacked
several times, but always managed to pick up the pieces afterwards. At the end,
the colony was destroyed, while Robert was at Starfleet academy to take the
entrance exam.
Unfortunately, he failed the exam, and decided to join the marine core instead.
Here, he distinguished himself as a good commander, and was given this posting
to get some deep space training. .He is tough, thorough and does not take no
for an answer – and he insists on being addressed as “sir”, when he gives
orders.
He smokes cigars(a
very uncommon trait in the 24th century, and no one seems to know
where he gets them from!), uses a language that would make a Klingon blush and
proudly displays his tattoo on his right upper arm (a Starfleet insignia with a
bolt of lightning through it, and the words “They Serve – We Fight!”). On his
left cheek, he has a scar from a fight with a Sindareen pirate. He choose to keep it as a
reminder of what would have happened, had he not been fast enough. Played

Chief
Tactical officer: Lieutenant Horace Harkness
Sex:
Male
Species:
Human, Lunarian
Horace
comes from the Earth’s moon, Luna. He is a huge, black man with a large mane of
hair (cut in regulation style, but it takes a visit a week to the ship’s
barber!). He is a quiet man outside of his duties, a little shy and
uncomfortable around women. On his job, however, he is as good as any other
officer – doing his duty with pride. After hours, however, he is most likely
found in his quarters, reading a book – or on the holodeck, where he enjoys
fantasy-like adventures in a middle age setting.
He
is very attracted to ensign T’Laia, but he has never told her about his
feelings – since he has never had a real girlfriend, he does not exactly know
how to talk to her. The fact that she is a Vulcan (or at least half Vulcan)
does nothing to make him feel better. For the time being, he is content to do his
duty, and look at T’Laia from his station once in a while.
Species:
Vulcan (halfblood)
T’Laya
is a half Vulcan, with her human side coming from her mother. She grew up on
Vulcan, but visited Earth frequently with her mother as a little girl. She is
36, which in Vulcan terms is barely over puberty, and has a lot of problems
with the two conflicting sides of her personality. Although she has chosen the
Vulcan lifestyle, her human side sticks it’s head up from time to time. This is
most obvious in her use of sarcasm and irony – a trait beyond most Vulcans.
Growing
up, she was very good friends with Soleta, a fellow half blood(although she did
not know it at the time, Soleta’s father was a Romulan), and the two girls
helped each other through the tough times in the Vulcan school, where T’Laya
was teased mercilessly.
Joining
Starfleet is for T’Laya the best thing, she has ever done. She is content to
the life on a star ship, serving with dedication and almost joy. She looks up
to the captain, thinking that a woman gotten as far in the fleet as Shirzina
has at her young age, she must be something extraordinary indeed.
