| It only takes two zombies to make you the main course and when you have no place to run, a grenade is not a stupid tool to kill a zombie its all to go for. And since ammo is pretty scarce, this Resi will rip your head off and make you palms sweat |
| And you do know that zombies are the easiest monsters to kill off. The bogs and hunters are incredibly vicious and bounce just craving for a piece of you. The puzzles and mastering the controls is not tricky next to the constant threat on your life. You'll end up feeling powerless and defenceless as your ammo files down to the last few. Ten you hear the next groan round the corner; the adrenaline simply rushes through you like a river. The simple fear is so disturbing it's fantastical. |
| To help you out new weapons have been initiated into the game. Daggers, tazers and grenades have been scattered around the mansion. Your character will use these weapons automatically whenever a zombie is looming near, which is not the same with the other weapons you may possess. This ensures that the little electric shock should give you some more time to get away or shuffle between more powerful weapons that can take its face off. This feature replaces the Dodge feature of Jill Valentine in the third instalment. This allows for zombies to creep or jump in on any angle which adds to the survival horror felling so as to not completely destroy you in the process. |

| The big problem is that we already know what the outcome is and pretty much the whole plot if you have played it before. The fun of a new Resident Evil game was to see who the plot developed and the surprises that it will spring at you. But this is better, it gets the player immersed and you get a sense of wistfulness. This is now the time to get a GameCube. One hell of a superb game that is pretty much flawless and you'd be simply stupid not to buy it. |
