I hope and trust that everyone had a restful and reflective few days off. I know I did.



This week we will begin reading "Number the Stars" by Lois Lowry. Students will listen to about a chapter or two a day and generate a response to literature. They will also be creating art projects, studying European geography, and considering the lives of both heroes AND villians like Anne Frank,  Adolf Hitler, Gandhi, Roosevelt, and more.



Please discuss daily work with students. Ask them what NEW thing they learned each day.
