A youth group is a group of people
doing activities together. The idea that
separates a group from just hanging out
with your friends is that in a youth group theres
a common bond- in this case it's Judaism.
How often do you meet?
Regularly, events occur once a month.
However, some months two or even three events
might be scheduled due to holidays, services,
or other youth group obligations. You will be
notified of these events either through e-mail or
the regular snail mail.
What is the board?
The board is a group of young people who plan, organize,
and run the youth group. The advisor supervises and
helps the board be productive, however the board are
the platform of a youth group. Positions that make up
the board are President, Social Action VP, Membership VP, Religious and Cultural VP, Sophomore/Freshmen Reps, and Publicity. If your interested in running for a board position, elections are held every year at the end of the MRTSY year. Check the calendar to find out when elections are being held this year!!

TYG- Temple Youth Group
SAVP- Social Action Vice President
MVP- Membership Vice President
RCVP- Religious and Clutural Vice President
