LOCATION: Pee-Wee's Playhouse
JOB: Fool-pitying cowboy in a poorly fitted outfit to accompany TV's favourite flamboyant lad, Pee-Wee Herman

DESCRIPTION: Mr. T has obviously noted the reference to him in the film, Pee-Wee's Big Adventure. This must be what inspired him to demand a role on the syndicated show, Pee-Wee's Playhouse.

"Yeah, Mr. T was a bit overpowering," speaks Paul Reuben, the actor behind Pee-Wee and one of the stars of Mystery Men. "He'd stand there, and if I even so much as tried to do anything zany or fun, he'd put me in my place. We'd have these silences. Long, uncomfortable silences. The trading card above shows the only time we ever had something happen in the episode. And see? He even pitied me then. We asked him to leave shortly after, and the show flourished."

Pee-Wee's Playhouse was America's longest running children's show, and this weekend on PBS, they'll be showing all 12 episodes.
