I have been teaching at Carmel since 1990. I am currently teaching computers and technology at Carmel High. While I have been an English teacher since arriving at CHS, I have been teaching technology for the last six years. Software Applications is a class designed to teach students how to use the Microsoft Office suite of applications successfully. Introduction to Computer Science consists of three components: Hardware and troubleshooting, programming in HTML, JavaScript, and C++, and finally robotics. AP Computer Science prepares students to pass the AP test which gives them credit for the first semester of computer science.

In addition to my teaching assignment, I am one of the faculty sponsors of a new robotics club. This club will participate in a national program by attending robotic competitions with other high schools. Please see the US First website for more information. Additionally I am also one of the Diversity Club advisors which promotes tolerance for all students on the CHS campus.
