| FixVHSOversharp attempts to repair the light and dark halos that follow high contrast edges found in VHS sources. You can see this effect particularly in all VHS sources as well as some home video camperas including the newer digital cameras. This oversharpened effect can also be seen in some DVD movies. This filter has only been tested on VHS captures so results may varry depending on your video source. This filter operates on YUV sources only and is safe for interlaced material. Usage - for best results: FixVHSOversharp(30,12,8) FixVHSOversharpL(30,12,8) FixVhxOversharp(30,14,10) Limitations: This filter may have trouble fixing frames wider than 352 pixels. Small text is often badly messed up by this filter. |
