Meet the Teacher

Beverly wright, is a kindergarten teacher at Alton Elementary. She graduated from West Plains High School, and went to college at Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri.. She has been teaching at Alton since 1977. She has taught kindergarten since 1980. Prior to teaching Kindergarten, she taught 3rd Grade for three years.

  Mrs. Wright was born on March 18, ???? in West Plains, Missouri. Her parents are James and Ethel Willard. She has one sister, Susan Lindsay.  Mrs. Wright married Bob Wright on June 14, 1975.  She has three daughters: Amy, Holly, and Sara. Amy resides in Alton, Holly married Blake Reese, Jr., High Coach and Alternative School.  She is a Third Grade eMints Teacher at Alton,  and is expecting their first child in October. Sara married John Wheeler of Alton.  Sara and John live and work in the Alton area. 

Mrs. Wright is a member of the Alton Freewill Baptist Church. She has always wanted to be a Kindergarten Teacher! She enjoys cross stitching, playing the piano, and getting ready for a new granddaughter!  Mrs. Wright also has a cat named Taffy.  She thinks Kindergarten kids are the most wonderful people around! She loves every minute she spends with them!
