Philosophy of Music Education I believe that music should be used to develop the total child. Music is a means of expression to not only help the child with self-esteem, but also group interaction.Students should be able to develop personal values, as well as recognize the cultural heritage of others. Music should spark a life long interest for many and a potential career choice for some. Our music class is a safe place, where no one is judged or feels uncomfortable. It is a place of fun and freedom where everyone is welcome.
