We're going to the Zoo! On Thursday, April 30, 2009, the third grade will be taking a field trip to the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens as a culminating celebration of our Life Sciences Unit. The cost is $9.00 per student - which includes the bus costs and entrance to the zoo. Parents are more than welcome to join us for this trip - as long as you are already on the approved chaparone list. If you would like to come and ride the bus, your cost will be $9.00 as well. If you would like to drive separately and meet our group at the zoo, entrance to the zoo will be $5.00 and it will be $6.50 to park. We will be leaving at 9:00 that morning and returning to the school at 1:30, so your child will need to pack their lunch that day. The permission slip for this trip went home on Friday, April 17.
