| Letter From Ernest Cooper in Covington to his Aunt Katie Edwards |
||||
| Covington La December 13, 1901 Dear Aunt Katie I will write you a few lines to let you know how I am getting along. I am getting along fine and hope you are the same. How is your little baby? Is he walking or talking yet? I would like to see you and him. Mama's little girl will soon be sitting alone and she tries to talk. Mama says she is going to write to you soon. Aunt Katie, Christmas is coming closte and I hope we will have a fine time and I hope we could be together for Christmas once more. Covington is a nice little town and we are getting along nicely but I often think of my old home and my poor little sheep that I left there alone. Excuse bad writing for my pen is bad. Be sure and answer my letter. All at present from your little nephew, Ernest Cooper |
