This is a homework pass I use to encourage completion and return of assignments (copied onto yellow construction paper). I also use homework tickets (copied onto green construction paper). They can be laminated and used year after year!
This is the idea: for every homework returned completed and on time, the student is given a homework ticket. They collect 5 tickets and return them to me for a homework pass. This enables them to skip, forget to complete, or let the dog eat one homework assignment. At the end of the six/nine weeks, semester, or even year any homework passes they have earned and not used can be traded for a treat of the teachers choosing. This was found to be pretty effective. |
