Ranch Acres Camporee 99'
The Ranch Acres Service Unit has just completed Camporee 99'. This service unit was not the only one to participate in Camporee 99', Sunny Acres Service Unit also attended. There were 11 troops with 129 girls total between the two units and a great time was had by all.
Camporee 99' was held at Camp Nocatee in Clewiston, Florida. Camp Nocatee is a lush 640 acre area filled to the brim with wildlife of all kinds. Deer, aligators, hawks, vultures, owls, racoons, armadillos and yes snakes and bugs.
Along with the wildlife, campers who go to Camp Nocatee will have the opportunity to visit the on-site farm and with a lifeguard in attendance will get to swim in the pool.
Can that be all there is to Camp Nocatee... Heck no. Camp Nocatee has a beautiful lake suitable for canoeing and fishing off the dock.
