Introduction

Wow! It's summer already. How shall you spend you summer vacation?  Well, pack your bags, you are going on a historical trip.  You have decided to adventure out and explore the "Cornhusker State."  Where will you go? What will you do? Who will you go with?  Before you go - some things you need to know.  You will be going with three of your friends for two weeks.  You will need to follow a itinerary and each of you will have a budget of $1500.  Have fun exploring!

Task

I. You and your three friends must stay within your budget while coming up with an itinerary. Read through the information needed and divide up the workload.  Do the entertainment section as a group.

Process

 1.  Deside who is going to do what task. Each person will need to gather their information.
 2.  Constant communication between participants concerning time lines is important!!!
 3.  All activities will be attended as a group - site seeing, museum, eating, down time.
 4.  As a group deside which directions you will go and how many places you will visit.  Remember you only have two weeks.
 5.  Complete a time line with activities for the two week period.

10.  Keep a personal journal of your thoughts.
11.  Create a presentation to share with the class about your exciting vacation. You can use AppleWorks slideshow, HyperStudio, make a brochure, poster or something else approved by the teacher. Include in your presentation the places you visited, your finances and some of your journal thoughts.

Conclusion

Wow! What an exciting trip you had through Nebraska. Now write a one page, double spaced, 12-font paper about your experiences on your trip. Make sure it is grammatically correct and include what you enjoyed or didn't enjoy, thoughts on cost of items or the itenary and any thing about Nebraksa that you didn't know before. Would this be a trip you would enjoy experiencing?
