Be able to state in writing some advantages and disadvantages to drawing by hand and drawing by using the computer.

Hand Drawn Advantages

1. Can change orientation of drawing surface easily. 2. Easilier to make curves compared to using computer.

3. Thickness of line can be easily changed 4. Shading is easy.

Disadvantages of hand drawn

1. Erasing can leave smudges. 2. Fill in of color takes more time. 3. Harder to be precise.

Computer drawn advantages

1. Can be precise. 2. Easier to fill in color. 3. Erasing is clean 4. Can undo and redo and action.

5. Resizing is easy. 6. Recolor image is easy.

Disadvantages of computer

1. Slower to reorient drawing area. 2. Hard to draw with mouse, can  use Touch tablet to get around this

disadvantage. 3. Harder to do refined shading 4. Can’t easily do irregular line thickness.

Be able to state in writing some simple tricks to help create drawings using the computer.

1. Use magnifying tool to refine picture easily.

2. Use right click to draw background color to erase one pixel at a time.
