Practice in Sentence Writing

 

1.  Use an antecedent in the subject, a third person plural possessive case pronoun and a

            prepositional phrase used as an adjective phrase in the complete predicate

 

2. Use a proper noun and an appositive in the subject of the sentence and a predicate nominative

            in the predicate of the sentence

 

3. Use a demonstrative pronoun in the subject of the sentence, an intransitive linking verb and a  

            proper noun as the predicate nominative

 

4. Use an interrogative pronoun, a first person, singular nominative case pronoun, and an action   

            verb

 

5. Use an appositive phrase in the subject, a prepositional phrase used as an adverb phrase, and    

            an intransitive linking verb

 

6. Use an appositive phrase in the predicate, a first person plural, objective case pronoun as the    

            direct object, and an antecedent

 

7. Use TWO adjectives to describe the subject of the sentence and an adverb in the predicate

 

8. Use a third person singular, nominative case pronoun in the subject, a common noun

            as the direct object and a proper noun as the indirect object

 

9. Use a prepositional phrase as an adjective phrase in the subject of the sentence, an intransitive  

            complete verb, and an adverb in the predicate
