HNTS FOR AUTHOR SEARCH

 

1. Go to Google.com (or your favorite search engine)

 

2. Type in the name of your author.

 

3. Check out and read AT LEAST 3 sites listed for your author.

 

4. Take notes on your tablet for your essay & oral presentation..

 

5. When you find a good site, save it under your favorites so you can easily retrieve it at home.

 

6. A helpful site you might want to use is www.writersroom.tripod.com

 

7. There are short story analogies on the back table in the classroom which may be helpful to you.

 

8. For your Power Point presentation, you must include a picture of your author on one of the slides. Be looking for

                one as you search.

 

9. Be sure to have the assignment sheet close at hand while doing research so you know what information

 you should be collecting.
