HNTS FOR AUTHOR RESEARCH

 

1. Go to Google.com

 

2. Type in the name of your author.

 

3. Check out and read AT LEAST 3 sites listed for your author.

 

4. Take written notes on your “CD BURNER” worksheet to aid you in writing your essay.

 

5. When you find a good site, save it on your flash drive so you can easily retrieve it at home.

 

6. A helpful site you might want to use is www.writersroom.tripod.com

 

7. There are short story analogies on the white desk in the classroom which may be helpful to you.

 

8. For your Power Point presentation, you must include a picture of your author on one of the slides. Be looking for

                one as you search.

 

9. Be sure to have the assignment sheet close at hand while doing research so you know what information

 you should be collecting.
