Discipline Policy
Once a student misbehaves on any given school day, a warning is issued by the teacher. If the student continues to misbehave, he or she will be asked to give up the following colored cards to the teacher. The teacher will then write the student offense on the back of the card and date it. The card will be given back to the student the following morning for a "fresh start".
First offense: Blue Card = Student misses 5 minutes of recess
Second Offense: Pink Card = Student misses 10 minutes of recess
Third Offense: Green Card = Student reports to Mrs. Duffy
Fourth Offense: Yellow Card = Teacher calls home and arranges a parent-teacher conference
