When does Power of the Pen Meet?
7th Grade and 8th Grade

POP meets weekly (as our schedule allows) on Tuesdays.

What is Power of the Pen?
Power of the Pen is a creative writing club.  We practice writing to prompts, and making our writing skills better.

It is an educational writing program for 7th and 8th graders in Ohio.

In three levels of competition writing (district, regional, and state) students compete in timed, impromptu writing with immediate feedback from the judges.
What else do I need to know?
Power of the Pen costs you no money. 

Power of the Pen will require at least one weekend (transportation provided by the school)

Power of the Pen is a fun way to meet new people, and practice, refine, and hone, your writing skills.
