Special Events in Alexander County: Oct 21st The Apple Festival We have a lot of Apple Orchards in our county. There is a big celebration every year at harvest time. Oct 26th The Apple Bowl This is the big football game between East and West Alexander Middle Schools. It seems like the whole county shows up for the game. Root for East (that's our school!) Oct 31st Trunk -r- Treating, an event hosted by many of the area churches provides a safe alternative to going door to door |
