About Me

      I am the first grade teacher at St. Ailbe School in Chicago. This will be my first year at St. Ailbe. I have been a first grade, second grade and third grade teacher with the Archdiocese of Chicago for over 15 years. I recently added kindergarten to my license.
        I have been married for over 40 years to a wonderful man. Ray and I have lived in Hammond, IN, for all of our lives and the past 36 years in the same home.
        We have five children: Sue, Bill, Teresa, Joanne, and Debbye. When Debbye was in first grade, I went back to school to become a teacher.
        We have seven grandchildren: Zack, Jeremy, Tyler, Kemaleigh, Olivia, Nicole and Katie. Zack and his mom, Teresa, are in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Jeremy, Kemaleigh, and Olivia are in Hammond with Bill. Katie is our newest grandchild. Katie and big sister, Nicole, live in Columbia, Maryland with Sue and John. Joanne lives in Cedar Rapids, IA. Debbye married Chris in 2007. We now have a new grandson, Tyler. Deb and Chris live in Hammond. A new grand baby is expected in July.
