Bust a Groove 2
This section is dedicated to Bust a Groove 2, the sequel to Bust a Groove! This game brought in a few new characters, Comet, Bio and Tstumoru to name a few. Originally called Bust a Move 2: Dance Tengoku Mix, this game is just as good, if not better then part one! The soundtrack is full of phat tracks, definetely worth getting a copy of! Anyways, on to the good stuffs!

Japanese Version: Bust a Move 2: Dance Tengoku Mix Info:
Unlock Chi-Chi and Sally (Japanese version):
To get Chi-Chi and Sally beat the game with Capoera on any
mode. You can use continues as much as you like.
Unlock Columbo (Japanese version):
To get Columbo beat the game with Shorty.
Unlock Hustle Kong, Michael Doi, and McLoad (Japanese version):
To get Hustle kong, Michael Doi, and McLoad beat the game
with all of the 10 starting characters (They will gradually
appear on your character select) OR
Hustle Kong - Beat the game in normal as Columbo or
Kelly.
Michael Doi - Beat the game in normal as Hiro or Sushi
Boy.
McLoad - Beat the game in normal as Comet or Columbo.
Unlock Pander (Japanese Version):
To get Pander, beat the game with Robo-z in mix mode OR beat
the game on normal with Robo-Z Gold.
Unlock Robo-Z Gold (Japanese version):
To get Robo-Z Gold beat the game with Tsutomu, Kelly or Kitty-N
Unlock Sushi Boy: (Japanese version):
Beat the game in normal as Bi-O or Hiro

I have two ways to unlock sekrit characters for Bust a Groove 2. I've tried some of them, but I reelie dont remember which ones work and which ones didnt, so I post them all! Muahah! The first set is in caps, the second set isnt. Enjoy!
COLUMBO:
Beat the game with Shorty.
ROBO-Z GOLD:
Release Columbo and ChiChi & Sally, then beat the game with
any character in Mix Mode.
PANDER:
Beat the game with the ten default characters, then beat the
game with Robo-Z Gold in Normal Mode.
SUSHI BOY:
Get 4 Fever Times while following the stage pattern
beginning with Kitty Nakajima. Face Sushi Boy in the fifth
stage and beat the game.
McLOAD:
Get 4 Fever Times while following the stage pattern
beginning with Comet. Face McLoad in the fifth stage and
beat the game.
CHICHI & SALLY:
Beat the game with Capoeira.
MICHAEL DOI:
Get 4 Fever Times while following the stage pattern
beginning with Hiro. Face Michael Doi in the fifth stage
and beat the game.
HUSTLE KONG:
Get 4 Fever Times while following the stage pattern
beginning with Strike. Face Hustle Kong in the fifth stage
and beat the game.
ALTERNATE COSTUME:
When selecting a character, press the Circle Button.
LEVEL SKIP:
Anytime during a song, hold the L2 Button and press Start.
This can only be done when all characters are activated in
Dance View.
Dance against Pander:
To dance against Pander, you have to get a Fever Time in
every level up to Robo-Z Gold, and then get one on her.
Unlock Columbo:
Complete the game with Shorty.
Unlock ChiChi & Sally:
Complete the game with Capoeira.
Unlock Robo-Z Gold:
Complete the game with Heat.
Unlock Pander:
Complete the game in mix mode with Robo-Z Gold and unlock
the Pander bonus level.
Unlock Hustle Kong:
Complete the game with Hiro.
Unlock Michael Doi:
Complete the game with Hustle Kong.
Unlock McLoad:
Complete the game with Comet.
Unlock Sushi Boy:
Complete the game with Heat.
Select alternate costumes:
While a character is loading, hold Select to change his or
her outfit.

Misc Bust a Groove 2 Stuff: |

Listen to Acid Line:
Go to Options on the main screen, and select Sound Options.
To listen to Acid Line, you have to hold left or right on
the selector, and it should cycle through the songs quickly.
While it cycles, you should notice the song appears before
The Heat is On when scrolling right. Stop immediately on the
song while scrolling, and then select it. It is helpful to
go three songs in one direction and attempt it from there.
(I've also heard that before the Robo-Z Gold song, you can
activate the Acid Line track as well.)
TV director's message:
While dancing against KITTY-N, don't let her dance her solo
(use a special attack before the solo time). If you do it
twice (one time in the first solo and again in the second
solo), a message from the director will appear before the
third solo.
Activate Dance View:
Beat the game with the character for which you would like to
have the Dance View.
Alternate Costume:
When selecting a character, press the Circle Button.
Level Skip:
Anytime during a song, hold the L2 Button and press Start.
This can only be done when all characters are activated in
Dance View
Shrink your opponents:
Capoeira and ChiChi & Sally can shrink their opponent by
attacking them. If you attack twice in a row, they will
remain small for the entire battle.
Steal solos!:
Attack an opponent just before their solo to steal it and do
your own as well for extra points.
More points:
To earn a higher score, anticipate your player's first move
and press the button before it appears on the screen (in the
blank bar). The game will skip the first move and you will
earn higher points.
