The 5th and 6th graders are learning about North American Indians.  These are three projects they did to enhance their knowledge of native cultures and traditions.
Dream Catchers were thought to weave out the bad dreams and only allow good dreams to come through them. Grandparents made these for grandchildren.
Totem poles were part of the Northwest Coast native tradition.  Their purpose was to represent families of the village.
Spirit shields were thought to guide natives through their lives.As children they would  fast until they come in contact with a spirit. This spirit would be their lifelong guide.

Bill of Rights
The 3rd and 4th graders learned about the Bill of Rights and the three branches of government.
The 3rd and 4th graders created paper mache' world globes during their geography unit.
These are examples of a poster the 7th and 8th graders did during their study of the U.S. Constitution.
