This is the sweater I made to wear to the Liberty Ball on May 9, 2002. This was an awards ceremony for Billy's school.

I've been making a flag afghan since October 2001!

I used an afghan stitch and made the first section of six stripes. The second section had 7 stripes and the blue area.

Last night (2-12-02) I finally finished making the 50 stars and I stitched 3 onto the flag so far.

I sewed on some more stars last night so now I have 11. I don't plan on sewing any on tonight so watch for some updates over the weekend.

I sewed on some more stars tonight. I have 29 stars now. Here is a picture.

I have worked on this pretty much every other night since October except during December when I made 16 pairs of mittens for Billy's preschool class.

It is finished! You can't really see the gold border in the picture but it has a metallic gold border. The flag is wider than it looks in the picture. The dimensions are 50 1/2" x 62 1/2". The blue portion is 27 1/2" x 27 1/2". I'm so glad to be done with this!

This is the blanket I made in May 1998 for my son who was born 9-21-98.

This is the one I am working on for a friend's son who was born 5-22-01.

This is the finished blanket but the pictures didn't come out very well. It is supposed to be a navy blue blanket!
