General Info
- You will receive your class average from me at the 3 & 6 week mark.
- You will also receive a grade tracking sheet.
- This sheet goes in your English notebook under the �graded papers� section.
- It is your responsibility to keep track of your grades and class average if you want to know where you stand at any given point in the six weeks period (other than at 3 & 6 weeks).
Grade Weights
- Daily work/homework 35%
- Quiz grades 20%
- Test grades/projects 45%
Grade Percentages
- Daily, quiz, and test grades are 75% of your grade.
- Semester exams are 25% of your grade.
How To Average Your Grades
- Average your daily grades.
- Multiply the daily grade average by 35%.
- Then write that number down.
- Average your quiz grades.
- Multiply the quiz grade average by 20%.
- Then write that number down.
- Average your test grades.
- Multiply the test grade average by 45%.
- Then write that number down.
- Add up all 3 numbers that you wrote down - that will be your class average ( grade ).
