New Students

We will have many new students at FWA this year!


Please remember how it feels to be new somewhere and make an effort to make our new students feel welcome...


Introduce yourself, offer your assistance if needed, sit by them at lunch or invite them to your table...You get the idea...


Please remember that they are making a big adjustment so be patient if they seem a little quiet or slow to respond to you.  Just love and accept them where they're at...

It is hard being new somewhere... I try to keep that in mind when someone new starts at work or school... Its always a good idea to go out of your way to be kind to people and make them feel welcome... you never know who could be an angel in disguise!! :) Happy Learning kiddos!

Someone went out of there way today to make me happy to be here. Its good to know the internet can share meaningful thoughts. There is so much ignorance out there. It doesn't bother me to be goofy or have fun either (everybody needs to ROFL sometimes and I do too :) but then I think (would I ever want to go out with a boy that can't or won't at least show they can talk in like a whole sentence? :) At least.... sometimes? I get it maybe its like your first blog or first time at a keyboard so everybody wants to play. But I just think everybody will just blog elsewhere or not at all eventually if I or we don't say something worth reading once in a while (food for thought)

My class blog is in its preliminary stages right now from where I really want to take it...I am researching the way other teachers use their blogs...There are many possibilities...
