| Kate Connolly Flaherty was born on January 16, 1978 in Boston, MA. to Richard and Dorothy Flaherty. She is the youngest of three girls. She was raised in Woburn, MA and attended St. Charles school for first through eighth grades. She attended Arlington Catholic High School in Arlington, MA, graduating in 1996. Her freshman year of college was spent at Seton Hall University in New Jersey. She transferred to Suffolk University in Boston in 1997 and graduated in May,2001. While at Suffolk she did a semester abroad at Regents College in London, England. With her degree in communications, she is now a Unit Manager for the Chronicle News Magazine on WCVB in Needham, MA. |

| Dennis Eugene Walsh was born on December 5, 1972 to Janet and Charles Walsh. His twin brother, Brian arrived just before him. He and Brian are the oldest fo the four Walsh children He was bron and raised in Weymouth, MA. Dennis graduated from Weymouth High School in 1990. He went to Worcester Polytech and graduated in 1994 with a degree in mathematics. He currently works for Yale Sales in Dorchester, MA |
| We met in the summer of 1995. Dennis was working at Yale as was my dad, Rich. I needed a summer job so I started working there. We quickly became friends, but didn't go on our first date until October of 1996. We went to Cafe Florentine in the North End section of Boston. We started dating exclusively in January of 1997. |
| I had arrived home from England in early May of 2000. On May 12, 2000, Dennis took me to Cafe Florentine in Boston's North End, the place of our first date. We had a wonderful dinner and then he asked me to marry him. He presented me with a gorgeous princess cut solitaire. Obviously my answer was YES!! |
