Prayer to St. Philomena Virgin, Martyr and Wonder Worker

O faithful and glorious martyr Saint Philomena, who works so many miracles on behalf of the poor and sorrowing, have pity on me. You know the multitude and diversity of my needs. Behold me at your feet, full of misery, but full of hope. I entreat your charity O great saint! Graciously hear me and obtain from God a favorable answer to the request, which I now humbly lay before you. (Here specify your request) I am firmly convinced that through your merits, through the scorn, the sufferings, the death you did endure, united to the merits of the Passion and Death of Jesus, your Spouse, I shall obtain what I God, Who is admirable in His Saints. Amen.

Prayer to the Holy Guardian Angels(Monday)

O holy Guardian Angels, take care of our souls and bodies. Enlighten our minds that we may know the Lord better and love Him with all our hearts. Help us in our prayers that we may not give into distractions. Assist us with your advice that we may see the good and carry it out with generosity. Defend us from the insidious snares of the enemy and sustain us in temptation, that we may always be victorious. Remedy our coldness in our worship of the Lord. Cease not to protect us until you have brought us into Paradise, where we will praise our good God together for all eternity. Amen.

Prayer to Saint Anthony (Tuesday)

O dear protector, today we direct our fervent prayer to you, asking you to hear us and intercede for us. We are parents who ask for peace in our families, worthy occupations, and our daily bread; we are children who ask for divine assistance and protection in the hope of a successful and happy future; we are the needy poor, the afflicted sinners who come to you for help and grace. Therefore, speak on our behalf to that Child whom you hold in your arms, and we are sure of being heard. Amen.

Prayer to St. Lorenzo Ruiz & Companions (Wednesday)

Beloved St. Lorenzo Ruiz and companions Martyrs: you, who experienced the supreme sacrifice of martyrdom for the proclamation of the Christian faith, inspire us with your strength and firmness of conviction to withstand the adversities of our lives and the difficulties of our existence. Teach us with your marvelous example and saintly wisdom to turn trials into blessings, by showing us the glory that comes from discovering the redemptive power of God's love. When times are full of grief, when moments are suffused with worry, let us feel your presence in our midst, so that we will be aware that you are by our side, strengthening us and interceding for us before Almighty God that we may have patience in our sufferings and consolation in our hardships. Help us realize that only in knowing our weakness can we be strong, only in passing through trials and distress can we find peace, encouragement and spiritual joy. Amen.

Prayer to our Holy Mother St. Clare (Thursday)

O Seraphic Virgin St. Clare, because of our detachment from earthly things, the love you had for God, and the heroic patience with which you endured your human tribulations, your life was truly a sublime spectacle, beautiful to the angels, whom you imitated in their contemplation and purity; beautiful to men, upon whom you bestowed all kinds of temporal and eternal favors, and the world, which was confounded by you in its vices and errors. From your exalted throne of glory, where you now enjoy the merited reward for such virtues, may it please you to strengthen us in our weakness that we may hasten with sure and determined steps along the arduous pathways of Christian perfection. Amen.

Prayer to our Seraphic Father St. Francis (Friday)

Seraphic Patriarch, who left us such heroic example of contempt for the world and for all which the world values and loves, we beg you to intercede for the supernatural goods; lost as it is in seeking material goods. Your example succeeded in previous times to rouse others; and by inspiring them more lofty thoughts, produced renewal and true reform. You entrusted the work of reform to your sons, and they eagerly took up this noble task. O glorious father St. Francis, watch over this little children of yours now, from your triumphant place in heaven, and still in them once again a small portion of your seraphic spirit, that they may be able to fulfill this most important mission. Watch over also the successor of St. Peter, to whose office you were so devoted on earth. Obtain for him the graces he needs to carry out his responsibilities. He expects this graces from God since they are requested at the throne of the Divine Majesty by such a powerful intercessor through the merits of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Prayer to St. Maximilian (Saturday)

O St. Maximilian Mary, most faithful follower of St. Francis of Assisi, through life in the diligent practice the heroic virtues and in the holy works of the apostolate, look upon us who are devoted to you and trust in your intercession. You who. Enlightened by the Immaculate Virgin, drew innumerable souls to the ideals of sanctity and to every form of the apostolate in perfect consecration to Her, for the triumph of goodness and the spread of the Kingdom of God, obtain for us light and strength to do good and to attract many souls to the love of Christ through the Immaculate. You who, in perfect imitation of the Divine Savior, attained such a high degree of charity that you offered your life, in a sublime testimony of love, to save that of a fellow prisoner, obtain for us from the Lord the grace to be witnesses of Christ to our brothers and sisters; animated by the same ardor of charity, in order to attain with you the possession of God in the light of eternal glory. Amen.
