Anime North 2006!

Anime North was a Blast this year. While I think they've got too much going on, too many people, and a little too corporate even for this convention, my friends and I were a smaller bunch, up for less time than in the past, and had one little troublemaker that had been in our group now gone. We were able to have the fun we'd been missing in the past couple Anime Norths.

I think I ran into this charming young lady on Thursday. She noticed my Talking Luna Plushie, and I let her play with it. I would LOVE to know who she is! (Slightly different pic from the one on Genvid. ^_- Just too good to not use it again)

I think I ran into this girl on Friday as I was heading into the TCC after getting the Masquerade Attendance sticker. I also saw a hot PGSM Sailor Mars earlier but unfortunately couldn't find her again. T.T

Anime North this year had a new thing for Friday Night - a Nominoichi aka Japanese-style flea market for anime goods. I managed to sell some items and made some money. I had hoped to meet up with one friend to help, but since that didn't work out, I still went ahead and set up on the table I got. I'm glad to say it went well, and I don't have as many videotapes to store in that little box anymore. Plus the 3 Chun Li / Cammy figures I tried to eBay over a year ago sold very well. ^_^

I may have been there to sell a few items, but it doesn't mean I don't videotape cosplayers and any girl in a china dress. Mmmm.. red china dress.

This group of girls cosplaying Slayers ladies did a nice little video treat just for me - and used my Talking Luna plushie as the main prop! Doumo arigatou minna-san!! Please let me know sometime who you all are and if I see you all again in 2007, would you join me and my friends to dinner during the weekend?
