Homework Policy:

  • The daily homework assignments will always be listed on your child's homework assignment sheet which he/she should bring home each day.  Homework is usually given on Monday through Thursday.

  • If your child forgets their homework an Oops note will be sent home as a reminder.  Please sign it and return it the next day.





In addition to the above your child should:

  • Read a book or part of a book for a few minutes each night

  • Study the weekly spelling words for a few minutes each night (Mon.-Thurs.)  tests are on Fridays.

  • Study addition and subtraction facts up to 18.

 




*Children do not need to spend more than 20 minutes a day on these activities.  Reading a book can be done on the weekends when there are no assignments given.  Occasionally there will be special assignments or projects which children will do over a period of time.  Finally, there may be assignments that were not completed in class and need to be completed at home.
