| About Mrs. Hennelly Mrs. Hennelly was grew up in New Jersey on a small farm. Her family raised and cared for pheasants, chickens, rabbits, ducks, sheep, and horses. In high school, she competed on many state and national teams for 4-H and FFA. She served as captain of the State 4-H horse bowl and hippology teams, as well as, competed nationally in horse judging and landscape design for the FFA. Mrs. Hennelly was also elected State FFA Vice President and visited many high schools motivating students to do their best. Mrs. Hennelly attended Cook College, Rugters University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. She majored in Natural Resource Management with concentration in Wildlife Biology and minored in Environmental and Business Economics. Mrs. Hennelly was a member of the National Honor Socitety, Alpha Zeta, where she served a chapter scribe. She was also supervisor of the Rutgers University Mounted Patrol, the only student run campus security at that time. She also rode for the Rutgers Equestrian team. Mrs. Hennelly recieved the Cook College Leadership Award, as well as the Ruth Pease Memorial Scholarship from Rutgers University. After receiving her Bachelors of Science, she completed her student teaching and long term substituting in high school biology. Mrs. Hennelly was hired by Edison Public Schools in Edison, New Jersey where she taught Earth and Life Sciences. Mrs. Hennelly also attended Kean Univeristy where she completed her Masters in Education concentrating in Curriculum and Instruction. Mrs. Hennelly was awarded the "Student-Faculty Thesis Award" for her thesis on Inquiry Learning. In 2008, Mrs. Hennelly's family moved to Alpharetta, Georgia. She is taking this opportunity to be a full time mother to her two boys, but wants to continue her expertise in teaching. Tutoring is the perfect way to help pass the experience and knowledge to others for her. |
