Curriculum

This year in math you are going to experience several ways of learning as we are focusing on a "problem solving" apporach to cover the material this year. Our curriculum (what you learn) is aligned with the New York State standards or guidelines. You will be exposured to the following topics in several ways, -mainly through problem solving, - as many of the topics are related.

This year you will learn:

Problem Solving- using logical thinking, algebra, creative
thinking etc.

Real/ Numbers & Algebra

Probability & Statistics

Geometry- Spatial sense and patterning

Algebra- Linear & Non-Linear

Number Sense

Proportional Reasoning

I will try my best to make sure that EVERYONE understands the material. However, please keep in mind that I can't read your mind- and if you're not getting something- PLEASE ASK!!!
