One word describes Ronan's 1st book 'Life is a Rollercoaster', AMAZING! It is quite simply THE BEST BOOK EVER! It's Ronan's first but hopefully won't be the last. Ronan teamed up with his close friend, Irish author and journalist Eddie Rowley, to co-write his story. Eddie is the chief entertainment correspondent on Ireland's biggest-selling newspaper, the Sunday World.
Ronan was only 23 when he wrote this book, so its not exactly what you call an autobiography. As he says "The party's only just beginning". The book consists of 20 excellent chapters. They take you the wild journey of Ronan's life so far. From the times of joy and elation, to the times of sorrow and distress.
Ronan talks bout his childhood, and after reading the first few chapters, you alredy feel like you know Ronan and the family. Ronan takes you through the highs and lows of his life in Ireland, and the whole rollercoaster of Boyzone.
The book is divided into 3 sections by some glossy unseen photos from his childhood, right through to photos of his son, Jack.
Theres is many hillarious incidents described in the book, like escaping hotels through the windows without paying the bills and all the mischeif he and his brother Gary got into. He describes the emotional times for the family like the loss of his mother Marie and when his brothers and sister in turn, all moved to New York. Of corse Ronan dedicates a chapter to the birth of his son and his marriage.
Its a book that can be read time and time again, and you'll still laugh at the funny parts.Its a book not to be missed!!! |
