| "It's like this." Mary's cheorographer TJ showed her after she got off stage. He did a hard a dance move in slow-motion and she copied him. Everything had to be prefect for the show that night. "Right, so you lift your arm up like this," Mary said copying what he did. "But keep your leg back ok?" TJ told her. "Ok ok like this?" She asked trying to keep it back. "Exactly right. Hey I'll go get us some water alright?" He questioned. "Yeah great." She smiled and started doing the dance moves again in front of the giant mirror. "1...2...3 and 4." Mary counted out loud. Suddenly she saw someone in the mirror behind her. "Oh my god!" She screamed and turned around. "Sorry." Chris said laughing, "Didn't mean to scare you." "Well you did it pretty well!" She said laughing too, "I'm Mary." "Chris." He told her while shaking hands. "Sorry I didn't catch your preformance. My stage crew says you were 'pretty good'." She apologized while turning off the music she was dancing to. "You'll see it tonight, don't worry. You're really talented - I mean like singing and dancing and everything." Chris said. "Thanks." She blushed under his gaze. TJ walked in the room with the waters. "Hey Mary no time for talk." Mary rolled her eyes. "Sorry Chris, strict teacher. I have to get all these dance moves perfected." "You looked fine onstage." Chris told her. "Really? That's so..." But she was cut off by TJ. "Sorry Chris, but she needs to make sure there's no chance of her missing a beat. She needs to practice." TJ turned the music back on. "Oh, uh, it's ok." Chris said dissapointedly. "Hey come back in an hour ok? That's when dinner is getting here right?" She asked TJ. "Yeah." TJ gruffed. "Ok well then I'll see you later. Good luck." He told her and walked out of the trailer. Mary kept dancing but felt her heart racing. Chapter 6 |
