| "You guys were great!" Mary screamed out in the audience, "I love you Orlando!". This was the last show of the week before the popstar did a charity concert. She quickly exited the stage and ran onto the bus waiting near the stadium. If she stayed any longer, her manager feared she might be mobbed by fans. It had been three years since Mary had her first single and her popularity was growing. One thing she never agreed to, however, was to date another celebrity "just for publicity". If she was going to have a boyfriend, she'd do it for love, not fame. *~*~*~*~*~*~* Chris knocked the alarm clock off the table next to his bunk. Eight o'clock was way too early to get up. He drifted back to sleep, only to be awoken by Matt. "Get up, we got to go to breakfast." Chris remembered suddenly today was the day of the charity concert. As the five guys groggily poured out of the bus to a diner, Chris started thinking about Mary. He didn't know too much about her, he hoped she wasn't one of those snotty-type-pop-princesses like most of the singers he'd met. "So excited?" Dream Street's manger asked the guys as they dug into a plate of bacon. "Yeah." Jesse said with his mouth full. "It's pretty cool doing a concert with Mary." Frankie added. Chapter 2 |
