Red Neck Softball League |

| From the beginning days , Rich loved playing in the NAVSSES softball league. He played in this Red Neck league for three reasons: | ||

1. The Beer 2. The Food 3. The Friends

| Instead of coming home and telling me if his team won or lost or if he got any hits, the very first thing that I heard when he came through the door was what type of food was there. During his days as a Red Neck, he had a lot of fun and played on a few different teams.. From the very beginning days he had one dream: | ||

To Become a CRACKER! |

| I could never understand his obsession of wanting to get on this team.............. until I got to know and love these little red necks. | ||
| You see......... Not just anyone can be a CRACKER.........Being a part of this team was on the same level of being a Marine: | ||

Only the Proud, The Strong, and The Few made it to CRACKER STATUS. |

| I am happy to report that determination finally paid off and Rich became a CRACKER. | ||
| I cannot tell you the joy that he felt the very first time that he put a CRACKER shirt on his back! Mere words cannot describe how obnoxious and full of himself he was the first time he took the field as a CRACKER with a jeer in his voice and a beer in his hand. | ||
| Of course everyone in the Red Neck League loved the CRACKERS too! A simple bystander could tell this by the reception this team would receive at the yearly Red Neck Banquet. All of the teams in the league respect the mighty CRACKERS......it must be the great team spirit and sportsmanship that this team displays on and off the field. | ||
