Common Holly  or
Ilex Aquifolium
  1. Evergreen tree planted throughout Europe and parts of North America.
  2. Can grow up to25 metres tall, but often bushy.
  3. White flowers male and female, which ripen into red berries in November
  4. The bark is smooth and grey with some dark marks.
  5. Holly leaves are glossy, wavy and sharply spiny though on old holly trees the leaves may be almost spineless.
