National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE). Order NCTE books and publications or find other resources. For teachers or students with style questions, go to the Modern Language Association site. Censorship is controversial and current. Go to NCTE's censorship page for current and recent news about censorship in our schools. CyberEnglish is a course created by Ted Nellen to assist English teachers using the web. The site has many sample English teacher web pages and lots of resources. There are many sources for Language Arts lesson plans on the web. Try ERIC, Encarta, the Collaborative Lesson Archive, NCTE's Notes Plus, Cyberguides, etc. Visit NCREL: the North Central Regional Educational Laboratory. Topics include curriculum, professional development, school reform, educational policy, and technology. NCREL serves a seven-state region of the Midwest, including Michigan. |
