The plants are all filling in nicely and the bulbs I planted last fall make the greenery around the pond very lush. I added lights around the pond and deck, and I'm thinking of adding an underwater accent light.

| This spring (2000) we finally finished the walkway. The waterfall is still a maybe. I wintered 8 fish inside for the winter with about 5 left in the pond along with the lillies and the rest of the snails, frogs, and clams. I lost 2 of my biggest goldfish to the ice, but 5 frogs made it through to spring. However, I think they have mostly deserted since spring | ||||||||||||||||||||

| thaw. I have only 1 bullfrog (female I think) and 1 other frog that is very tiny compared to the bullfrog left. The snails, clams, and vegatation made it through winter with flying colors.
