Many classroom helpers are needed. If you are not available every week, please consider sharing the job with another parent.
Since our activities rely on parent help, if you are unable to make a given day, please call a substitute. If no one is available, please let me know as soon as possible so I can change the activity!
Centers: Please look for a monthly sign up sheet to come home in your child's Friday Folder
Classroom Party Planner(s): Plan class parties for the following holidays: Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's Day, Easter, and End-of-the-Year.
Photographer/scrapbooker: All parents: Photograph students at different school activities and give a CD of pictures to Mrs. Rosted toward the end of the year for class scrapbooks.
Teacher's Helper: 1-2 people needed once per week to make copies, rip out workbook pages, and/or cut out laminated material.
Book Nurse: Repair our well loved classroom books
1-2 people needed once per month.
Library Helper: One person needed once per week to help students pick out age-appropriate books, read a story to the class, & generally help librarian while class is in library.
Publisher: Publish student writing. Can be done at home on a computer. (Don't worry, it's easy, and I have step-by-step instructions as well as a template)
Little Books: Basically put together little books for the students. All you need is a stapler.
Field Trips: I will send home a note requesting chaperones on field trips as needed.
