This week in the news...
Math: we have been reviewing patterns, greater than & less than, graphing, and number sense.  We will have our first math test next week!
Reading: We have been learning about mental images and thinking about what we are reading.
Religion: We have been learning about God's Goodness and the gifts that he has given us.
Science: We are ending our unit about our 5 senses.
Writing: We are working on leaving spaces between our words, using capital letters, and punctuation.  A couple students have even "published" their first book!  The published books are added to our classroom library so our friends can read them.  At the end of the year we get to take them home.

We are continuing to work on our rules and procedures.  We're getting better everyday!

Centers: Please see the center volunteer sheet to help during the month of October.

Snack: Please don't forget to send in a snack on your child's snack day.

Conferences: Parent/Teacher conferences are coming up soon.  I am sending home a pre-conference form for you to fill out.  Please send it back to school by Monday Oct. 1st.

On a personal note: I am looking for a Tigger costume (adult S-M)!  If anyone has one they'd like to sell, I'd love to buy it!  The Disney Store no longer sells them! Thanks!

Have a great weekend!
