Baby Update: A week from today Kacy Marie Rosted should be making her debut. (the doc rescheduled the c-section to Nov. 16th) I will be taking off from Nov. 16th-Dec. 20th. I will be back on the Thursday before Christmas break. While I am gone, Mrs. Badovinic will take great care of our first graders.
Winter weather wear: Please be sure to write your child's name or initials on everything. We have several people with the same boots, snowpants, hats, ect...
Indoor shoes: Please send in a pair of shoes for your child to leave at school. Tennis shoes are probably best, that way they are always ready for gym class.
Canned food drive: Our school is holding a canned food drive starting on Nov. 12th! The class that brings in the most non-perishable food by Nov. 16th wins a pizza party with 96.7 FM!!! With 24 first graders, we have a pretty good chance of winning. We just have to beat those 25 second graders!!! THE CAN PRIX IS ON!!! Let's go 1st grade!
Christmas gift exchange: I am sending home a note today about our Christmas gifts. Please be sure to see when your child's elf day will be.
Have a great weekend! Nicci Rosted
